HOW TO FIND THE BEST ACTIVITIES TO DO WHEN YOU TRAVEL
One common question I get about traveling is how do I know places to see or what to do in destinations I visit. In fact, that’s is the reason I started this page. So I could share my experience, tips and inspirations.
There are lots of ways to find activities in different destinations.
Below are some.
USE TIKTOK
1.Start by searching the destinations on @Tiktok you will be surprised the
gems you find.
You can simple type “things to do in xxx destination” or for example “Thailand travel”
The Tiktok platform is so greta with key words and you will find almost anytime you are looking for.
It is my number one go go platform for searching for travel ideas.
USE RESOURCEFUL TRAVEL WEBSITE
2. Go on website like @getyourguide @airbnbexperiences @tripadvisor @viatortarvel and you will easily find things to do in different destinations and you can easily buy tickets from these websites
I have used the above apps/websits to plan my trips. You can get different kinds of activities on each on of them. You can even go as far as getting a photographer booked. Especially from airbnbexperiences. Make sure you read reviews.
USE INSTAGRAM
3.Start by searching the destinations on @instagram you will be surprised the
gems you find.
You can either search the hashtag or the destination or the
location. Bloggers who share tips and ideas are some of the best people you can learn from when it comes to traveling
You can also follow travel bloggers like myself to get inspirations

USE PINTEREST
4. Use @pinterest to get inspirations. This is good for both regulars travellers and travel bloggers as you can actually create your own board and arrange the places you will visit, your activities and even photo inspirations.
I like the platform as it is also good with key words and millions of people use it as a means to share phots, videos, blog post etc when it comes to anything including traveling. I find it helpful.
ASK YOU HOTEL OR RESORT CONCIERGE
5. Ask the hotel/resort concierge or staff on arrival or send an email before arrival. These people deal with a lot of travels from luxury to budget travellers and they are aware of what’s around the hotel or in the city.
So take advantage of this and make your life easier. You will be surprised how resourceful your hotel can be. It is also a safe option since you are staying at their hotel, they will do their best to take care of you. Most hotels have direct contact with tour guides which makes it easier.
READ TRVAEL BLOGS
6. Everyone has different travel style. Read travel blogs and follow travel bloggers on social media or travel pages with your kind of style and you will not only get inspired but you will find tips. Just save their posts and create a folder.
Resourceful travel bloggers save details on their trios on their blog post. So read through their post and check their social media incase they have for example instagram highlights on their trips.
